Taking Vitamin E in just the alpha tocopherol form actually causes a Vit E deficiency because it blocks the receptor site so no other forms of Vit E can be absorbed. Taking mixed tocopherols-tocotrienols is best because we need them all the forms. One of the best sources of Vit E is wheat germ, and many of the supplements are derived from this.
If you take cortisol manager, and an antihistamine before bed, most likely you will not sleep because they work against each other.
No herb should be taken longer than 3 months at a time, because too much of a good thing could cause problems. After a period of time the good benefits fall away and allergies, adverse reactions or changes in its function can occur. So take a break for 1-2 months, and assess if you need to continue taking it.
A Histamine overload can occur for some if they are not able to break it down properly, or if they are on reflux medication like Zantac or Tagament. Symptoms can mimic fibromyalgia and anxiety just to name a few. Some high histamine containing foods are; anything fermented, eggplant, spinach, coffee & tea, bacon and chocolate.
